Our clinicians hold an extensive portfolio of advanced postgraduate qualifications, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Diagnostic Ultrasound from the internationally recognised Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group — training undertaken by some of the most skilled musculoskeletal specialists worldwide.

Ben Harper

Advanced Musculoskeletal Clinician | Independent Prescriber | Ultrasound-Guided Injection Specialist

Ben is an advanced musculoskeletal clinician specialising in diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided injection therapy, and high-performance rehabilitation. He brings over a decade of experience working at the highest levels of elite sport, including serving as a lead clinician for Team GB at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. His background also includes senior medical roles with Huddersfield Giants Rugby League, Leeds Rhinos, Castleford Tigers, and the England Rugby League Performance Pathway.

Alongside his clinical practice, Ben holds an ongoing appointment as a Consultant Physiotherapist with Great Britain Taekwondo, supporting elite Olympic athletes through advanced MSK diagnostics, ultrasound imaging and guided interventions. This role reflects his expertise in high-pressure performance environments where accuracy, rapid decision-making, and evidence-based practice are essential.

Ben holds an extensive portfolio of postgraduate qualifications, including master’s-level modules in Independent Prescribing, Applied Clinical Anatomy, and Injection Therapy, as well as postgraduate certificates in Strength & Conditioning and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging. This training enables him to deliver precise, real-time diagnostic ultrasound at the point of care and to perform ultrasound-guided injections using advanced techniques that improve accuracy, safety and clinical outcomes.

In clinic, Ben combines imaging expertise, advanced clinical reasoning, and targeted injection therapy to help patients with joint, tendon and soft-tissue pain. His approach is shaped by years of experience within Olympic and professional sport, ensuring every patient receives specialist-level assessment, clear communication and a tailored plan designed to optimise recovery and long-term function.

Katie Davis

BSc (Hons), MCSP, HCPC

Musculoskeletal & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist | Clinical Pilates Instructor | Yoga Teacher

Katie specialises in both musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy and has over 10 years of experience working across the NHS, private sector, and professional sport. She has previously led pelvic health services within private hospitals and has extensive experience in assessing and treating a wide range of MSK and pelvic health conditions. Katie is also a certified APPI Clinical Pilates Instructor and Yoga Teacher, providing Pilates and Yoga sessions to professional sports teams and private clients.

Katie is the Owner and Director of Cheshire Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic, and also serves as the Lead Administrator for Cheshire Joint Injection Clinic. She has significant experience in the management, treatment, and triage of musculoskeletal patients and has completed numerous postgraduate pelvic health courses through the POGP, alongside completing master’s-level modules as part of her Advancing Physiotherapy MSc.

Outside of clinical work, Katie enjoys running and going to the gym. She and Ben have a two-year-old son and a Dachshund called Derek, who keep them busy and entertained outside the clinic.
